Nia Po Pia

My baby big girl is almost 1! So little sassy Nia will be 1 on Wednesday....what ever should we do? I keep telling everyone we"ll be enjoying a nice dinner at Chik-fil-a which I am sure will definetly please Maya, but nevertheless this will be Nia's celebration.
Maya's first birthday was filled with a normal new mommy to do list of stuff Maya could care less about. We had the theme of a tea party...yes for a 1 year old! She had an exquisite tea pot cake and her own "messy cake", we had a project for all the big and little girls which consisted of making a fancy party hat, she had a big jump in the back and lots of games inside. Looking back on the whole thing it was really nice, lots of fun and a tad bit pricey. Now that its Nia's turn and we are going a bit low-key I only hope I don't hear about this 10 years from now when Maya and Nia check their snapfish photo albums of 1st birthdays and notice the lack of similarities. LOL.
We will however celebrate all day long at school....cupcakes and ice cream for my baby girl....all day!

The Resemblancee of 2 Sisters...

If there was any way possible that 2 sisters could be twins but born years apart...these 2 would make the cut...Nia Mariah Faith @ 8 months and Maya Grace Denise @ 10 months.

I love my girls!

My Baby

My baby...yes she is 4 and I still call her my baby....My baby and I attended her Pre-K Orientation today. What an experience this next week will bring for the both of us.

Of course she is now excited about going while I am a little fearful. I need like another 4 months to teach her a few more things and its hit me that I have officially ran out of time. I've had 4 years to instill in her the things I think would give her the best success in this crazy world...well at least en
ough to deal with those bad kids who she will surely come across. I have to say my daughter is a great kid. She is respectful, sweet, charming, beautiful and super smart. Now its time to let go...LAWD WHY!!!!

Maya,

Today we attended your pre-k orientation. Although I may seem thrilled to send you off mommy is 2 seconds away from taking back every uniform and school sup
ply and sheltering you home with your sister. I know in my heart of hearts that you will be fine. I know you will go to school and make mommy and daddy proud by listening to your teacher, making good choices, playing with others, being a friend and helpful when needed. I trust you will always act as if you're mommy and daddy are watching. I love how you love to make us proud and I hope you know we are!

Kisses HoneyBunch! ~ Mommy loves you...
